Blog week ending 4th September
I am delighted to welcome you to a new academic year at Wilmington Grammar School for Boys! Whether you are joining us for the first time or are returning as part of our school community, a very warm welcome to you all! It has been an uplifting start to the year, with plenty of energy, positivity and very smart uniforms!
We value the strong partnerships we build with families, as we know that working together is key to the academic success and wellbeing of our students. I encourage you to stay connected and involved in school life throughout the year. We also encourage parents and carers to read our fortnightly Blog, as it offers a window into school life, celebrates student achievements, shares important updates, and highlights upcoming events—helping you stay connected and informed throughout the year.
Our Heads of Year for this academic year will be writing to you next week by means of introduction to welcome you and your child to the opportunities, plans and expectations for the forthcoming year. In the meantime, I have included a few photos taken during our Year 7s first few days at WGSB!
Thank you for being part of our community. I look forward to a successful and enriching year ahead.
Heads of Year
Years 7 – Mrs Kitchener
Year 8 – Mr Morrison
Year 9 – Mr Corrigan
Year 10 – Mr Powell
Year 11 – Miss Kemp

Very best wishes,
Stuart Harrington
